Students at Hudson Prairie Elementary School recently participated in their annual Pennies for Patients fundraising campaign. Pennies for Patients supports children with leukemia and lymphoma. As an incentive to reach their goal, teachers and staff volunteered to have the hair shaved off their heads depending on the amounts of money raised. Mr. Schaub, Mr DeMoulin, and Hudson Principal, Mr. Behnke, shaved off their beards and hair as a result of students exceeding their goal. The students and staff raised over $2,600 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

2020欧洲杯体育足球即时比分The Hudson Orchestra program is a great way for students to participate in a music ensemble!
What instruments can my child play?
Student can play violin, viola, cello, or bass. Elementary orchestra teachers will be visiting your child’s classroom to demonstrate the differences between these awesome string instruments!
When are lessons?
Lessons will begin in September of next school year. Students will need to bring their instrument to school one day per week. They have large group lesson before school at 8:00 AM and a small group during the school day.
How much does it cost?
The rental costs vary by instrument. We work with area music store representatives who will be at the meeting to explain how the rental program works. The initial rental cost for the four-month trial period is $45 for violin and viola, $65 for cello, and $95 for bass.
Following the Orchestra Sign Up Night, we will help you pick the right size instrument for your child and you will have the opportunity to set up an instrument rental.
