8th WEB Leaders Welcome New 6th Grade Students

2020欧洲杯体育足球即时比分The first day of school is just one week away, but a group of ninety 8th graders came back early to train as WEB leaders. WEB stands for “Where Everyone Belongs.” WEB is a middle school orientation and transition program that welcomes 6th graders and makes feel comfortable throughout the first year of the middle school experience.

2020欧洲杯体育足球即时比分Built on the belief that student can help students succeed, WEB trains mentors from 8th grade as leaders. As positive role models, WEB leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the 6th graders to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to middle school.

2020欧洲杯体育足球即时比分WEB provides the structure fro 6th graders to receive support and guidance from 8th grader who have gone through middle school challenges and understand that the transition to a larger school can sometimes be overwhelming.

2020欧洲杯体育足球即时比分The 90 WEB leaders were introduced to over 300 6th graders who attended the WEB Orientation. With the help of staff, the WEB leaders worked with the 6th graders in large and small group activities. In addition to the group activities, 6th graders were helped with practical items like opening lockers and touring the building.
